We are a family owned wellness store in Burbank and have been serving our community since 2019. We are looking for a friendly, dependable part time sales associate who enjoys working with people and is interested in a long term position. Retail sales experience is preferred, but we are also open to the right person who may not have as much experience. We have amazing customers, many who have been coming to us for years, and giving them a friendly and personal experience is extremely important to us. We carry products for both people and pets, and many of our customers bring their pets in with them, so enjoying animals is definitely a plus! This is a very customer focused and hands on sales position. We actively engage with our customers from the time they walk in, start conversations, walk around the store with them, show them the different products we carry, answer questions and help them find what they are looking for. We want every customer to feel welcomed and well taken care of. You should genuinely enjoy talking with people and providing that extra level of personal attention throughout their visit. Knowledge of CBD and the endocannabinoid system is a plus, but it is not required. We provide training on CBD, the endocannabinoid system, our products and ingredients so you will have the knowledge you need to comfortably educate and assist our customers. Our store does have downtime between customers, but there are daily responsibilities to take care of during that time. This includes cleaning, organizing, stocking, inventory and other store tasks. Taking initiative and being comfortable staying productive during the quieter parts of the day is important. After your initial training, you will work independently in the store on weekends and a few days during the week. Weekend availability is required for this position, so you should be comfortable working on your own and handling the day to day responsibilities of the store during your shift. Some of the responsibilities include helping and educating customers, recommending products, ringing up purchases, working toward sales goals, completing daily cleaning, stocking, inventory and keeping the store organized. We are looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, friendly, comfortable talking with customers, willing to learn and genuinely enjoys working with people. Must be 21 years of age or older. Pay is $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience. We also offer monthly bonus opportunities when sales goals are met, product training and an employee discount.
