If you enjoy meeting new people, creating memorable customer experiences, and working in an upbeat environment, this could be a great fit. Our front desk team—also known as CBX—plays a big role in the studio experience. You'll welcome riders, help first-time guests feel comfortable, support our instructors, keep the studio looking great, and help prospective members find the right way to continue riding with us. You do not need indoor cycling experience to apply. We're looking for personality, reliability, communication skills, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Be DoingWelcome and Support Our Riders You'll help set the tone from the moment someone walks through the door. Welcome members and first-time riders with positive, genuine energy Check riders into class and assist new guests with getting started Answer questions about the studio, classes, memberships, and rider experience Build relationships with our members and help create the community atmosphere CycleBar is known for Work closely with instructors and studio leadership to deliver an excellent experience before and after every ride Connect With Prospective Members This position combines customer service with membership sales. You'll have conversations with new riders about their experience and help them choose memberships or class packages that fit their goals and schedule.

Responsibilities include:

Explaining membership options, packages, and current studio promotions Following up with leads and first-time riders by phone, text, and email Helping prospective members move from their first ride into an ongoing membership Supporting studio membership and sales goals Asking for the sale in a friendly, helpful, and confident way There is no cap on commission , so strong performers have the opportunity to earn beyond their hourly rate. Help Keep the Studio Ride-Ready Everyone on our team helps create a clean, welcoming studio. During your shifts, you may: Prepare the studio before classes Reset the cycling room between rides Wipe down bikes and studio equipment Restock towels and other rider supplies Keep the lobby, front desk, restrooms, and common areas organized Process retail purchases and maintain merchandise displays Assist with themed rides, special events, promotions, and local community activities You'll Be a Great Fit If You're Outgoing and comfortable meeting new people Friendly, dependable, and professional Comfortable starting conversations and building relationships Confident communicating in person, by phone, text, and email Willing to recommend memberships and ask for the sale Organized and able to manage several tasks at once Comfortable learning studio software, tablets, and mobile apps A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed Able to bring positive energy even during busy shifts Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness, front desk operations, or sales is helpful, but it is not required. We're happy to train the right person. Schedule Requirements This is a part-time, in-person position at our Castro Valley studio. Applicants should have flexibility to work a combination of: Early mornings Evenings Weekends Because our busiest times revolve around our class schedule, availability during these periods is important. You should also be comfortable remaining on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds when needed.
