Part-Time Retail Sales Associate / Cashier New Hope Thrift Store About Us New Hope Thrift Store is a clean, organized, boutique-style thrift store focused on providing a fun and welcoming shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for a friendly, dependable team member who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and helping create an organized and inviting store environment. Position Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate / Cashier to assist with customer service, register operations, organizing merchandise, and donation intake. This position is ideal for someone who is positive, hardworking, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate cash register and process purchases accurately Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Sort, organize, and restock merchandise throughout the day Assist with donation intake and processing Help display clothing, shoes, home goods, and other merchandise Keep fitting rooms and checkout areas tidy Work independently and help manage day-to-day store operations during certain shifts Work as part of a team to create a positive shopping experience Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, dependable, and motivated attitude Ability to stay organized and work independently Comfortable managing the store independently during some shifts Comfortable standing, lifting donations, and moving merchandise throughout shifts Retail or cashier experience is required Experience working in a thrift store or boutique environment is preferred Fluent Spanish is a plus Schedule Must be available Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays Additional weekday afternoon shifts may also be available Approximately 20-25 hours per week Why Work With Us Fun and positive work environment Flexible part-time schedule Employee discount Opportunity to grow with a growing local business To Apply Apply through Indeed or stop by the store in person on Saturday or Sunday to apply.
