Job description: Part-Time Children's Bookseller — Book Passage Book Passage is seeking a part-time Children's Bookseller to join our team. We are looking for someone who loves children's literature and enjoys helping young readers and families discover great books. Responsibilities Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to children, parents, and educators Recommend books for ages from board books through young adult Shelve, organize, and maintain the children's section Create and maintain engaging book displays Assist with receiving and stocking inventory Support children's events and activities as needed Qualifications Strong knowledge of children's literature Excellent customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to lift and move boxes of books (up to ~40 lbs) and stand for extended periods Must live nearby and be able to commute easily Must be a graduate of high school. College preferred. This is not a seasonal job! Schedule Part-time hours Weekends and some evening shifts required
