About Us Little Saint Farm is a regenerative vegetable and cut flower farm in Healdsburg, California. Since 2020, we have transformed three acres of former vineyard into a diverse and vibrant farm ecosystem. Our farm supplies produce and flowers to the local plant-based restaurant, Little Saint, as well as other restaurants, CSA members, and farmer's markets in Healdsburg. We prioritize ecological practices to enhance soil health and promote regional biodiversity. Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable Seasonal Market Lead to join our farm crew for the 2026 season. This seasonal role offers the opportunity to represent Little Saint Farm at our CSA Farmstand and Farmer's Market Stand as well as the rewarding opportunity to be involved in every stage of the farming process, from sowing seeds in the nursery to managing crops in the field and ultimately seeing your efforts come to fruition. This is a seasonal role starting in April and going through November with the potential to grow into a full-time role. It is hands on and requires the ability to execute physically demanding tasks that include but are not limited to: Set-up and take-down of Farmer's Market and CSA Farmstand Direct sales to customers and supervision of CSA member pickups Communication to the public about Little Saint Farm and our practices Field preparation and bed management Transplanting, weeding, and crop maintenance Harvesting and post-harvest handling and processing Light construction and irrigation projects Sowing and nursery work Other duties as assigned Qualifications The ideal candidate is: Someone who can communicate clearly and accurately with the public Able to work independently and quickly problem solve when needed Able to work in a fast-paced environment with an enthusiastic and positive attitude Comfortable with handling monetary transactions and doing mental math while interacting with customers Good at multitasking Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong communicator A quick learner who adapts easily to different tasks A proactive team player who enjoys collaboration and working towards shared goals Previous farm experience is strongly preferred but not required
Requirements:
Experience with Farmer's Markets or other customer facing retail experience Ability to work on CSA pickup and market days, which include Tuesday evenings and Saturdays A valid driver's license and clean driving record for using farm vehicles to make deliveries Ability to report to work on time on a daily basis and reliable transportation Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying climates and conditions Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks Manual dexterity for tasks such as reaching, grasping, holding and handling items Ability to perform repetitive motions with fingers, wrists, elbows, and shoulders Ability to stand, sit, climb, bend and squat for extended periods of time Comfortably use ladders, power tools, and heavy equipment Eligibility to work in the U.S Compensation & Benefits:
