You'll be reliable, flexible, proactive and friendly with customers, with great multitasking and problem-solving skills. We're looking for people who bring a mature mindset, youthful energy and a willingness to pitch in and get things done. 2x Casual Op Shop Assistant positions - SPCA Inglewood Op Shop Casual Hours as required to cover leave, busy periods, and weekends Key Responsibilities Work sole charge on rostered days, taking full responsibility for daily shop operations. Receive, sort, price and merchandise donated goods Assist customers and donors with friendly, professional service Process sales transactions and complete cash handling duties Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store environment Ensure stock is replenished and displayed effectively Help support and guide volunteers in their roles. ABOUT YOU
You're practical, reliable, and enjoy working in a busy retail environment. You take pride in your work, enjoy helping people, and are comfortable taking responsibility when working on your own. What we're looking for Retail or customer service experience essential (charity retail a bonus). Flexibility around availability to work on call and as needed Confident and experienced working sole charge Able to work flexibly across the shop floor, till, and sorting area. Confident communicator who enjoys helping others. Reliable, organised, and proactive with good attention to detail. Comfortable working in a team, with volunteers and independently. Physically fit and able to lift/move stock as required. Confident using POS systems, email and basic computer applications
