Sales Associate — Gourmet Popcorn Shop The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering friendly, fast, and accurate service to customers while helping maintain a clean, well-stocked, and inviting shop. This role supports daily sales operations, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction by assisting customers with recommendations, managing orders, and following food safety and shop standards. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide a welcoming, energetic in-store experience Take customer orders accurately and efficiently (in-store, pickup, or phone/online as applicable) Recommend popcorn flavors and products based on customer preferences Organize popcorn neatly on shelves. Operate POS/register, handle cash and card transactions, and follow cash handling procedures Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves, checking supplies, and rotating product as needed Keep workstations, counters, and packaging areas clean and organized throughout shifts Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures Help with simple merchandising tasks (signage, displays, seasonal promotions) Assist with opening/closing duties, including end-of-day counts and equipment care Address customer questions or issues professionally and escalate concerns to a manager when needed Support the team during busy periods while maintaining strong attention to detail Shift availability required for some weekends and some holidays ( This is a part time position)
