Retail Sales Associate/Clerk

Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service. Advising customers on type of equipment for specific purposes, such as type of fishing pole, fishing bait, size of a kayak, type of a knife. Explains care of equipment, regulations of games, and fish and game laws. Informs customer of areas for hunting, fishing, or hiking, and cost of such outings. May repair sporting goods like fishing reels, fishing poles, and spool line. Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers. Achieving established goals. Directing customers to merchandise within the store. Superior product knowledge. Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor. Fishing experience is a big plus.
