Duties Assist customers in selecting products by providing detailed product knowledge, including effects, dosages, and consumption methods Conduct engaging product demonstrations and educate customers on new or featured items to encourage informed purchasing decisions Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions, handle cash register operations, and manage cash drawer handling with accuracy Maintain stock levels through regular stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and appealing displays Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and suggesting additional items to enhance their experience Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors warmly, answering questions professionally via phone etiquette, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Support store operations by managing retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and inventory counts while adhering to all cash handling procedures Qualifications Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment is preferred Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail store product knowledge, and merchandising techniques Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions and inventory management Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific regulations and product lines Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members Embark on an exciting career journey where your enthusiasm meets industry expertise!
