About the Role We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-driven IME / Personal Injury Marketing & Sales Associate to develop and grow our network of attorney clients and referral relationships. This role will focus primarily on marketing our IME/QME and related medical-legal services to defense attorneys, insurance defense firms, workers' compensation attorneys, and personal injury law firms. The ideal candidate will already have experience working within the medical-legal, QME, IME, personal injury, or workers' compensation industries and understand the attorney referral and case management process. This is a highly relationship-focused position that requires someone who is comfortable meeting attorneys and legal professionals in person, developing new business relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and representing the company professionally in the legal and medical-legal community. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies targeting defense attorneys, insurance defense firms, workers' compensation attorneys, personal injury attorneys, and other legal professionals. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with attorney offices, law firms, claims professionals, and other industry contacts. Conduct in-person visits, meetings, presentations, and outreach to attorney firms throughout the assigned territory. Identify and develop new business opportunities with law firms and defense attorneys who utilize IME/QME and medical-legal services. Educate attorneys and legal staff on available IME, QME, medical-legal, and related services. Develop a strong understanding of the company's physician network, specialties, geographic coverage, and service offerings. Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospective and existing clients. Attend legal, medical-legal, workers' compensation, and industry networking events. Represent the company at conferences, seminars, attorney events, and other professional functions. Track leads, client interactions, referrals, and business development activity. Work closely with internal operations and scheduling teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Identify opportunities to increase referral volume and expand relationships with existing law firms. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities within the IME/QME and medical-legal industry. Meet established business development and revenue goals. Travel throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties, with occasional travel to Riverside, San Diego, Ventura, and other nearby counties, as well as Northern California as needed. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in medical-legal, IME, QME, personal injury, and/or workers' compensation Established understanding of IME/QME processes and the legal industry. Experience working directly with attorneys, law firms, insurance defense firms, workers' compensation attorneys, or personal injury attorneys. Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, business development, account management, or client relationship management. Strong understanding of the needs and workflows of attorney firms and their medical-legal cases. Proven ability to develop new business and build long-term professional relationships. Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and ability to confidently represent the company in meetings with attorneys and other legal professionals. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who already understands the attorney and medical-legal environment and can immediately begin building relationships and generating business. You should be comfortable walking into an attorney's office, introducing yourself and the company, identifying the firm's needs, explaining our services, and establishing a relationship that leads to ongoing business.
