In this role, you'll be the go-to person for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining smooth store functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about retail management, with a knack for motivating teams and handling multiple responsibilities with ease. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills while working in a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff during shifts, ensuring all team members perform their duties effectively. Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, refunds, and sales reporting to ensure smooth checkout processes. Assist with purchasing decisions, stock replenishment, and inventory management to keep the store well-stocked and organized. Train new employees on store policies, customer service standards, and operational procedures. Support marketing efforts by promoting sales initiatives and maintaining attractive product displays. Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience in retail or convenience store settings is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus. Knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques. Experience with inventory management systems, bookkeeping, payroll, and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, and stock organization. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to train staff on customer service standards and operational tasks such as cashiering and inventory control.
