Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, while also ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere in the dispensary. Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Assist customers in making informed decisions based on their preferences and needs. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, including processing transactions accurately. Handle customer inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism and courtesy. Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and stocked with products at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in upselling techniques and product demos is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our community. Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and appointments. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management.
