•4:00 PM We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented Firearms Sales Associate to support our auction operations during peak demand periods. This is a seasonal, part-time role, primarily supporting post-auction DROS processing and firearm transfers, with additional responsibilities in inventory handling and showroom operations. Work is typically available 4-6 months per year, based on business demand. This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must already be confident and experienced in firearm compliance procedures. process Applicants without this experience need not apply. Key Responsibilities Guide customers through ATF 4473 and CA DROS accurately and efficiently Process firearm transfers in full compliance with federal and state regulations Provide customer support (in-person, phone, and email) Verify and complete FFL documentation and compliance checks Maintain accurate acquisition and disposition records Assist with post-auction pickups and high-volume transfer periods Support inventory organization in showroom and storage areas Assist with moving and staging firearms (frequent lifting up to 30 lbs) Verify invoices, shipping documents, and customer eligibility Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace Required Qualifications 21+ years of age Eligible for CA DOJ Certificate of Eligibility (COE) (Live Scan required) Minimum 1 year experience in a firearms retail environment Proven ability to complete and guide customers through 4473 and DROS Strong knowledge of federal ATF and California firearm laws High attention to detail and compliance accuracy Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with strong problem-solving ability Preferred Qualifications Experience with firearm auctions or high-volume transfers Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and antiques Prior retail or sales experience Familiarity with inventory systems and recordkeeping Advancement Path This role can expand into: Full-time positions Increased hours and responsibilities Specialized roles (compliance, cataloging, appraisal support) How to
