We specialize in elevated home décor, unique gifts, furnishings, textiles, candles, and accessories curated for relaxed desert luxury. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys helping people, has an eye for design, and understands how to provide attentive service without making customers feel pressured. Because this is a small boutique, we are looking for someone who is comfortable taking initiative and helping with all aspects of the store. Responsibilities Welcome customers and create a friendly, elevated shopping experience Learn our merchandise and make thoughtful product and gift recommendations Assist customers with coordinating décor, accessories, and furnishings Process purchases accurately using our Shopify point-of-sale system Maintain beautiful, organized, and well-stocked displays Receive, unpack, price, and restock merchandise Keep the sales floor, cash-wrap area, and back room clean and organized Assist with opening and closing procedures Help package purchases and prepare gifts Support special events, promotions, and seasonal floor changes What We're Looking For Friendly, polished, and approachable personality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong customer-service and communication skills Genuine interest in home décor, interior design, fashion, or luxury retail Good visual sense and attention to detail Comfortable learning a point-of-sale system Previous retail, boutique, hospitality, or interior-design experience is preferred Availability to work weekends Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25-30] pounds
