Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be comfortable with retail sales processes, and possess a passion for helping customers find the right products. Experience in grocery stores or retail environments, along with familiarity with POS systems and merchandising, is preferred. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Support supervising staff with training or overseeing daily store operations when required Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or similar environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers Supervising experience is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued Excellent customer service skills are essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
