Tasting Room Sales Associate Krissie Vineyards is seeking people with strong team spirit to become part of our growing winery family. Beyond the beauty of our setting, our team takes great pride in delivering exceptional service and are dedicated to creating the most memorable food and wine experiences for our guests while providing employees with a fun, vibrant, inclusive, rewarding and growth focused work environment. Position Overview Our Tasting Room Sales Associates conduct educational wine tastings which highlight our traditions and philosophies of grape growing and winemaking, all-the-while delivering an unsurpassed customer service experience which leads to strong sales and long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line assistance to customers by welcoming them warmly and enthusiastically. Deliver exceptional customer service experiences in-person and on the phone Conduct wine tastings that convey our philosophies and image. Educate and engage customers in a manner that creates intrigue, which leads to sales. Communicate the benefits of our Wine Clubs and encourage memberships. Help meet and exceed monthly revenue goals. Inform customers about our upcoming events and our abilities to host parties, weddings, etc. Accurately complete sales transactions on the point-of-sale system. Process phone and online wine sales orders. Carefully package and ship wine. Stock Tasting Room with wine and supplies as needed. Maintain and uphold the cleanliness and image of the Tasting Room at all times. Ensure all end-of-day closing duties are completed and the Tasting Room is ready for tomorrow. Work closely with all other staff members to create an environment that delivers exceptional guest experiences and fosters a harmonious and safe workplace. Assist with any other facility duties as needed. Requirements & Qualifications Experience within the hospitality and or wine industry is preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Natural ability to connect with people and address groups. Have the ability to multitask. General knowledge of wine and an understanding of viticulture and winemaking is preferred, but not required. Detail-oriented and customer centric, with a desire to always go the extra mile to provide great experiences. Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and/or winery management software is preferred. Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed for the event calendar. Flexible schedule required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
