Full Job Description Position Overview:

We at MMD Redwood City are currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cannabis Budtenders to join our team in Redwood City. This flexible part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and development. As a part-time Budtender, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Part-time position Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons, offering product recommendations and answering inquiries Ensuring member satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed Accurately process transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions with precision Stay informed about current cannabis laws, regulations, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and accurate information to customers Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and performing inventory counts as needed Complete required training and certifications, including passing a background check and live scan Cross sell products 6 - 8 hour shifts

Qualifications:

2 year retail or customer service experience Open availability, including evenings and weekends Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to pass a background check and live scan Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends is a plus, but not required (training will be provided) Money handling experience Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Benefits:

Starting rate $18/hr +
