Job Description:
The Inside Sales Associate works as the internal counterpart to the Sales Manager, supporting the customer relationship from inside the organization. While the Sales Manager represents the business externally, the Inside Sales Associate leads the internal coordination, execution, and follow-up needed to deliver what was promised to the customer. Acting as the central link between departments, this role ensures plans are realistic, aligned, and executed on time, while also providing the necessary business control to track performance, costs, and compliance with company processes and interests.
Key Responsibilities and Reporting Lines:
The role reports to the Inside Sales Manager, but will work closely with our Sales Manager, Marketing and Logistic departments to further our Brioche Pasquier-Galaxy goals and mission. Business Development & Project Management Support Sales Managers in executing business development strategies, commercial plans, and promotional activity Answer to bids and build competitive pricing to win new profitable businesses Drive cross-functional coordination between Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, Quality, and Production to ensure new products launch in store on time Track action items and ensure follow-up across departments Business Control & Performance Tracking Analyze and produce sales data, budgets, and variances vs. forecast Monitor customer costs and budgets: promotions, trade marketing, logistics discount and penalty level Provide visibility on financial impacts and proactively suggest corrective actions when needed Ensure compliance with commercial agreements and internal policies Customer Management & Account Operations Act as the main internal point of contact for assigned customers Maintain accurate customer data, pricing, agreements, contracts and documentation Manage invoicing, collections follow-up, deductions, and customer budget Resolve operational issues and meet customer requirements by coordinating with internal teams Team Values & Mindset Represent Brioche Pasquier and Galaxy Desserts with professionalism and passion Build trust with customers and internal teams through reliability and consistency Contribute to a collaborative, positive, and execution-focused work environment Demonstrate curiosity for our products, markets, and customer needs Qualifications and Experience Education and Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in account coordination, project management, inside sales, sales operations, or a related function. Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong business acumen. Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems and other data management tools. Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings clearly. Behavioral Competencies Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with high attention to detail. Proactive problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales leadership and cross-functional teams. Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities and customer needs. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, and telecommunication devices. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to review, analyze, and interpret complex data and information. Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to shifting priorities. Ability to exercise sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
