Join Our Golf Team! Corral de Tierra Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and service-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Golf Professional . This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about golf, enjoys working with members and guests, and is looking to grow their career in the golf industry. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and assist with daily golf operations, tournaments, merchandising, member services, and golf instruction programs. Full-Time, including weekends and holidays About Corral de Tierra Country Club Nestled in the scenic hills between Salinas and Monterey, Corral de Tierra Country Club is a premier private golf and lifestyle club with a rich history, exceptional facilities, and an active, welcoming membership. Our 18-hole championship golf course, extensive practice facilities, and welcoming clubhouse provide an exceptional experience for both members and staff. Position Summary The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional with all aspects of the golf operation, including daily golf activities, tee sheet management, tournaments and events, instruction, merchandising, and exceptional member service. Key ResponsibilitiesGolf Operations Greet and assist members and guests in a professional and courteous manner. Manage the daily tee sheet and coordinate play efficiently. Assist with monitoring pace of play and enforcing club policies. Help organize and conduct member tournaments, outings, and golf events. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional golf shop and staging area. Provide club regripping services. Assist with daily golf shop and outside service operations as needed. Merchandising Assist with inventory control, receiving, tagging, pricing, and displaying merchandise. Monitor sales and contribute to effective visual merchandising. Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting. Maintain a well-organized and attractive golf shop. Instruction & Golf Programs Assist with junior golf programs, clinics, camps, and other instructional programs as needed. Provide golf instruction when appropriate and within PGA qualifications. Support the development of programs that enhance member participation and engagement. Member & Guest Service Build and maintain strong relationships with members and guests. Provide attentive, personalized service and anticipate member needs. Respond to and resolve member concerns in a timely and professional manner. Promote club activities, golf events, programs, and services. Represent Corral de Tierra Country Club in a professional and positive manner at all times. Qualifications PGA Associate or actively pursuing PGA Membership preferred. Previous experience in a private club or high-end golf environment preferred. Strong knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules, and tournament formats. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong customer service and organizational skills. Proficiency with POS and golf management systems such as ForeTees, Jonas, or similar platforms. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season hours. Benefits PGA dues reimbursement, if applicable. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
