Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor by merchandising products effectively and managing inventory levels through stocking. Use the POS (Point of Sale) system to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits, enhancing the customer experience while increasing sales. Educate customers on product effects, usage guidelines, and legal regulations to promote responsible consumption. Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing clear information and directing calls as needed with excellent phone etiquette. Assist in maintaining compliance with state regulations and store policies at all times. Qualifications Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment, with a strong focus on customer service. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is highly desirable. Bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively are a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management. Excellent communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette to engage confidently with customers. Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Strong merchandising skills for creating appealing displays that attract customer attention.
