Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to lawn care, gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and floral design. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on plant care, landscape solutions, and outdoor equipment to meet customer needs. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with seasonal and popular items. Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and conducting stock counts regularly. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues with professionalism. Promote e-commerce options by guiding customers on online ordering or store pickup services when applicable. Requirements Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Basic understanding of retail operations including POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures. Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or floral design is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and merchandising displays effectively. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed in a retail environment. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Passion for outdoor products, gardening, or floral arts is preferred to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
