Job Description

Overview Responsible for selling retail merchandise while providing Gracious Hospitality service. The Sales Associate is also responsible for maintenance of the retail shop appearance and inventory. Responsibilities Performs store opening and closing procedures. Exemplifies high standards of guest service and professionalism at all times including welcoming and greeting guests with a friendly engaging attitude. Sells productively while displaying confidence and enthusiasm. Provides courteous, helpful guest service. Remains knowledgeable on products offered and communicates product knowledge with customers. Processes purchase transactions via point of sale system, properly accounts for all transactions and monies according to Gift Shop policies and procedures. Maintains and builds good guest relations. Ensures the Gift Shop remains neat and tidy at all times. Ensures that guest suggestions, concerns and complaints are referred promptly and professionally to the Retail Manager. Performs other duties as assigned by the Gift Shop. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Must be 21 years of age or older. One year of prior experience in sales and guest services preferred. Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet. Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency. Native American hiring preference applies.
