Sales Associate (Temporary, 3-6 Months with Potential for Permanent Hire)

Store Owners Summary:

As a Sales Associate at J Ensemble, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and personalized shopping experience for our valued customers. You will embody our commitment to exceptional service, product knowledge, and a passion for fashion, helping each customer feel like the queen they are. This is a temporary role lasting 3-6 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position based on performance and store needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and enthusiastically, offering assistance and styling advice. Develop a deep understanding of our merchandise, including materials, care instructions, where they are designed/made, fit, etc. Listen attentively to customer needs and preferences, making personalized recommendations. Process sales efficiently and accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

Store Operations:

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor. Assist with receiving and processing new merchandise. Participate in visual merchandising and display setup. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including sales, returns, and dress code.

Sales and Performance:

Achieve individual and team sales goals. Stay informed about current fashion trends and product knowledge. Maintain an accurate customer book to record key preferences, sizes, and purchase history to personalize service and drive sales growth. Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

Passion for fashion and styling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong sales aptitude and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends and remotely. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Shopify and social media platforms is a plus
