Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Support Associate is responsible for helping the business develop strong relationships with their clients and customers through collaboration and guidance from the VP of Sales and the Project Manager. Duties include but not limited to answering customer questions, helping resolve problems, and making suggestions regarding the purchase of additional products and services. Additional duties include administrative functions, attending trade shows, performing customer demonstrations, building potential sales leads and inventory and logistics support. This role uses skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages of a product or service.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance on all relevant laws, regulations, and policies affecting defense contracts and procurement.
- Help in developing meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
- Customer support via phone, chat, email, or in-person engagement
- Administrative support for the VP of Sales and the Project Manager
- Aid in setting and meeting sales goals and objectives set by leadership
- Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
- Coordinate and participate in sales trainings, joint sales calls and lead sharing with team members and suppliers.
- Support the team with proposal requests and formulation.
- Respond to day-to-day needs of the sales and support teams.
- Provide collaboration, technical creation, and support of company literature
- Coordinate, support, and attend trade shows, meetings, conventions.
- Responsible for communicating pricing information in a timely fashion and must be able to fully articulate and assist with pricing calculations.
- Provide support to management, business development and other cross functional teams, including document management, logistical, data analysis and research support.
- Support warehouse and inventory activities as needed.
- Other work and projects as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
- Candidates must be considered ITAR Authorized US Persons as defined under 22 CFR 120.62.
- Candidates must be lawfully permitted and comfortable working in facilities with access to firearms and munitions.
- This facility is located inside a military installation; candidates must be lawfully eligible to enter a military installation.
Education:
Highschool Diploma/GED Required; bachelor's degree in business preferredExperience:
Preferred Prior Military; 3-5 years of related industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Experience with and understanding supplier agreements, pricing, inventory and logistics.

- Regularly spend long hours sitting and use of computers.
- Ability to lift and exert upwards of 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly.
- Frequently work on projects that require deadlines and attention to detail.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend trade shows, conventions, and product demonstrations.
Working Conditions:
- Most of the work will be completed in an office and warehouse environment.
- Travel may be required for sales/business development/ demonstrations/ tradeshows.
