This energetic position combines expert product knowledge with leadership skills to ensure smooth shifts, maintain compliance, and foster a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. As a key team member, you'll be at the forefront of our retail cannabis operation, guiding customers through their purchasing journey and supporting your team to succeed. Responsibilities Provide personalized consultations to customers, offering detailed product recommendations based on their needs and preferences Manage daily store operations during your shift, including opening, closing, and ensuring all procedures are followed efficiently Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, and inventory control to maximize sales potential Lead and supervise team members by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance performance and customer service skills Handle cash register operations, POS transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to cannabis sales and store policies Support marketing efforts by merchandising products effectively and ensuring the store's visual presentation aligns with brand standards Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, management, or supervisory roles within a retail or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated leadership experience as an assistant manager or shift supervisor with a focus on team management and employee development Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks related to retail operations Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain organizational skills under pressure Knowledge of retail merchandising, stocking procedures, pricing strategies, and store management best practices Valid experience in supervising staff during shifts with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership fuels success!
