Job Description

Overview The Door Greeter is primarily responsible for verifying guest identification to ensure compliance with state gaming regulations and company policies. This role plays a critical part in preventing underage gaming and maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment, while also delivering a welcoming first impression for all guests. Responsibilities Check and verify valid government-issued identification of guests entering the casino to ensure legal gaming age compliance Refuse entry to underage or improperly identified individuals in a professional and respectful manner Maintain strict adherence to state regulations and Golden Nugget policies regarding age verification Monitor entry points to ensure only eligible guests access the gaming floor Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while performing ID checks Identify fraudulent, expired, or altered identification and notify Security as needed Document or report incidents involving denied entry or suspicious activite. Provide directions and basic property information when appropriateAssist Security with crowd control and entrance flow during busy periods and events Maintain a visible, alert presence at assigned post at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous security, hospitality, or ID-checking experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying identification Knowledge of acceptable forms of ID and basic fraud indicators preferred Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to remain firm, professional, and calm when denying entry Pay Range USD $15.50 - USD $15.50 /Hr.
