Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products for their everyday booze, apparel, and perishables! In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selection, and ensure our store remains organized and inviting. Your enthusiasm for Moonshine, Whiskey, apparel and cultural knowledge will inspire customers and enhance their shopping experience. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a vibrant environment dedicated to growth and teamwork. This is a tipped position with Commission potential. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and actively engage to understand their needs related to Moonshine, Whiskey, and Cream Liquors. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and ensuring the store is clean, attractive, and well-organized. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and refunds while maintaining excellent cashiering standards. Support inventory management by conducting stock checks, replenishing items, and managing product merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Offer personalized customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable and building rapport with diverse clientele. Maintain knowledge of retail math principles to handle transactions efficiently and accurately. Requirements Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base. Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, merchandising, and inventory management. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or arranging displays. Basic proficiency with POS systems and retail math concepts for accurate cash handling. Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers.
