Fort Collins Retail Associate

We are seeking an energetic, and motivated individual to join our sales team as a Retail Associate. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for overall store operations while working with an emphasis on customer service and sales. Additionally, this position may work in various capacities for the overall operations of Crystal Joys such as production of product, inventory assistance, packing and shipping, or other duties as assigned. Duties include:

Responsible for maintaining and running a retail store environment independently - primarily alone and sometimes with others Provides excellent customer service to all customers and community members Maintains a positive and cheerful demeanor with customers, greeting them and offering help and guidance as needed Researches and informs self about new store products with information that can be accurately shared with customers during the sale process Works with a sales-focused mindset in alignment with achieving store and bonus metrics, if applicable Maintains store and displays in good condition and assists in day-to-day maintenance of store Assists with ongoing inventory expectations of the store to include restocking, pricing, labeling and organizing Uses the POS system effectively and successfully maneuvers and navigates the platform Implements opening, closing and daily duties of the store, including register maintenance Processes payments, including working with cash and credit cards and managing cash drawer with accuracy Works in various store locations if necessary Assists in packing and shipping online orders and delivers to post office or dropbox if needed Fulfills online orders and/or provides oversight of online sales platforms as requested. Participation in production of product when requested Actively responds to verbal and written communication from supervisor of all forms, (ie. texts, phone calls, emails, group messages, etc.) in a timely manner Works in full alignment with the company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age. Exceptions may be made based on State Laws as applicable. Ability to work within various technology platforms and systems, including but not limited to POS systems, email, and scheduling software Previous retail experience is beneficial, though not required Excellent customer service skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Computer literate and basic math skills Available to work on weekends and holidays Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to fulfill all physical demands of the position as indicated by Crystal Joys What happens next?
