General Duties/Responsibilities:

The Hawk's Nest assistant's primary responsibility is preparing and serving breakfast and snack foods for our students. We also carry gifts and clothing but the food is the main focus of this position. Computer skills are necessary but we will provide training on our program. Tasks and Responsibilities Prepare food for students. We do not use a grill so cooking is mainly heating items in the microwave. Cashing students out using the computer. Restocking drinks and clothing items. Light cleaning at the end of the shift. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required to Perform Essential Job Functions Computer literacy Previous retail/and or snack bar experience a plus. Excellent communication skills Reliable attendance Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift 25 pounds, when unpacking beverages and food items.
