Full Job Description Seasonal Retail & Front Counter Associate Location:
Hogan's Cider Mill, Burlington, CT Seasonal Position:
Training begins in August | Seasonal employment through December Hogan's Cider Mill is seeking friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused team members to join our retail and front counter staff. This role is the first impression for many guests visiting the cider mill and plays an important part in creating an exceptional customer experience while driving bottle sales and promoting our products. Responsibilities- Greet guests and provide a welcoming, positive experience
- Educate customers about our hard cider, seasonal products, donuts, bakery items, gifts, and merchandise
- Actively recommend and promote bottle sales, gift packs, and featured products
- Assist customers with selecting ciders based on their preferences
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process transactions
- Restock shelves, coolers, displays, and retail merchandise
- Maintain clean, organized, and attractive sales displays
- Answer customer questions about products, events, mini golf, and taproom offerings
- Assist with inventory, merchandising, and seasonal product displays
- Help maintain a clean and inviting retail environment Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Comfortable engaging with customers and making product recommendations
- Retail, customer service, sales, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during busy weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old
What We're Looking For:
Successful team members enjoy talking with customers and are excited about helping guests discover products they'll love. The ideal candidate is comfortable making recommendations, promoting featured ciders, and helping drive bottle sales while creating a memorable experience for every visitor. Schedule- Training begins in August
