Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Store Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their shopping experience, assisting with product knowledge, and ensuring smooth store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster a positive shopping experience Assist customers with product questions, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash register operations Handle cash handling duties including cash drawer management and basic math calculations for transactions Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure proper merchandising to maintain an attractive store presentation Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone Support inventory management by stocking new products and managing stock levels efficiently Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations Uphold store policies and procedures related to retail math, cash handling, and customer service standards Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations is highly advantageous Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Demonstrated strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette Experience in supervising or leading team members is desirable but not required Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices Prior experience with grocery store operations or similar environments is beneficial Join us as a Retail Store Associate and become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your career in retail!
