Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling opportunities to maximize sales Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, attractive, and well-maintained Manage cash drawer handling, including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end Use POS (Point of Sale) systems confidently for sales processing and inventory updates Maintain effective phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or in-store inquiries Requirements Previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers and team members Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product knowledge enhances performance in this role Demonstrated ability to supervise or assist in supervising team members is advantageous Familiarity with cashiering, retail sales transactions, and POS systems is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment!
