This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong customer service mindset, and is comfortable recommending services, memberships, and retail products based on each client's needs. Our Tanning Consultants are the face of the salon and play an important role in creating a welcoming, clean, and professional experience for every client. Availability is extremely important for this position. We are currently looking for someone who can primarily work morning shifts Monday through Friday , generally beginning around 7 or 8 AM through approximately 2 or 3 PM , with flexibility for some evening and weekend shifts as needed . We are looking to add someone to our team within the next few weeks to one month. Duties Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, upbeat salon experience Check clients in for appointments and assist with scheduling and booking services Educate clients on tanning services, memberships, packages, upgrades, and retail products Help clients determine which tanning options and services best fit their goals and preferences Recommend and upsell memberships, tanning packages, lotions, skincare products, and other salon services Process purchases and payments accurately through the POS system Answer phone calls, respond to client questions, and provide professional customer service Explain salon policies, memberships, promotions, and service options clearly Maintain a clean and organized front desk and retail area Clean and sanitize tanning rooms and equipment between clients Restock products, supplies, and tanning rooms throughout the shift Maintain attractive and organized retail displays Assist with opening and closing responsibilities when scheduled Help maintain overall salon cleanliness and presentation throughout the day Work alongside the salon team to meet sales goals and provide an excellent client experience Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, confident, professional, and outgoing personality Comfortable recommending and selling products, memberships, and services Retail, beauty, tanning, salon, spa, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required Experience using a POS system or cash register is a plus Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation Comfortable working independently when needed Ability to maintain a clean and professional workspace Willingness to learn about tanning services, skincare, products, and salon procedures Availability We are specifically looking for candidates with strong weekday morning availability Monday through Friday .

Ideal availability includes:

Morning shifts beginning around 7 or 8 AM Availability through approximately 2 or 3 PM Some evening availability when needed Some weekend availability Flexibility to help cover additional shifts when available Morning availability is a priority for this position.
