Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will help create an engaging shopping experience for our local and visiting clientele. In this dynamic role, you will assist customers in selecting the perfect swimwear, fashion and/or accessory piece, while ensuring the store remains organized and inviting. Your energy and communication skills will drive sales and foster lasting relationships with our team and community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail expertise while working by the beach and inside a lively store environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable styles. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management. Maintain attractive merchandising displays, stock shelves efficiently, and ensure products are well-organized for easy customer access. Provide excellent customer service through active listening, clear communication, and friendly interactions. Keep the store environment clean, organized, and stocked. Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of swimwear is a plus. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures. Ability to work various hours including weekends. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain a tidy store environment.
