Job Description
Join our team at East Coast Garden Center as a Garden Center Sales Associate and become part of a company that values career development and growth. Our Garden Center is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and a wide range of high-quality products. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting our products and services. Responsibilities Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service Assisting customers with plant selections and completing sales Supporting wholesale customers with gathering, counting, and loading plants Providing accurate product information and advice to customers Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and promotions Coordinating with other sales associates to ensure proper coverage Assisting with daily routines, tasks, and projects during slow periods Performing other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Basic plant knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service and sales skills Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Ability to handle challenging customer service situations professionally Must be 17 years of age or older Benefits Competitive pay and benefits package Training and career development opportunities Supportive work environment Experience and License Requirements Customer Service Plant Knowledge Sales Experience
