Job Description
We are a small store, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers and gets along well with management and coworkers. Our customers are important to us, and we want someone who will make them feel welcome when they come into the store. This is more than just a cashier job. You'll be helping customers, learning our products, stocking shelves, keeping the store clean and organized, and helping wherever needed. Job Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Help customers find products and answer questions Make product suggestions and help customers choose wine, beer, and spirits Operate the register and accurately handle cash, credit/debit cards, and checks Make sure products are priced and tagged correctly Stock shelves and move merchandise Help with displays, end-caps, and keeping the store looking good Keep the register area and store clean and organized Work with management and other employees to get daily tasks completed Follow store policies and procedures Help with other tasks as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is : Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Reliable and shows up ready to work Polite and respectful to customers and coworkers Comfortable working as part of a small team Willing to take direction and learn Able to stay busy and help out without always being asked Interested in learning about wine, beer, and spirits Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays You do not need to be a wine or spirits expert. We're willing to teach the right person. We care more about your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. Requirements Must be 21 years or older High school diploma or GED preferred Retail or customer service experience is a plus Cash register/POS experience is a plus Good communication skills Must be comfortable working with the public Must be able to lift and move cases of product weighing approximately 30-75 lbs. when needed Must be able to pass a background check Schedule shifts are:
•Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
Monday-Thursday:
3:00 PM-9:30
PM Friday-Saturday:
3:00 PM-10:30
PM Sunday:
