Duties Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable pool and spa products. Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging demos to enhance customer understanding. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining attractive merchandising standards. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities. Provide knowledgeable guidance on pool maintenance, safety procedures, and product usage. Manage phone inquiries professionally, offering helpful information and directing calls appropriately. Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items in the store. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking efforts. Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly and confidently. Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone. Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting merchandise, and standing for extended periods.
