Job Description Summary:
The Tennis Shop Attendant is responsible for promoting the game of tennis and the club by providing the highest customer service possible to the Members, Residents and Guests of Williams Island Club, creating an outstanding experience at the tennis courts.Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome Members, Residents and Guests as they enter the Tennis Shop.
- Properly check-in all tennis players prior to play. Assist members with retail sales, court reservations and scheduling of lessons both in person and on the phone. Answer phone calls with a positive and energetic demeanor.
- Communicate regularly with court maintenance team regarding the conditions of the tennis courts. Assist in monitoring facility to ensure safety of Members, Residents and Guests.
- Be knowledgeable and informed regarding general tennis programs, services & club events. Promote club events regularly.
- Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service throughout the pro shop, accurately process daily charges on POS system, process intake of returned merchandise and issue proper credit to customers.
- Assist with inventory on monthly basis.
- Assist with Match Making services for members.
- Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respected areas, to meet Club standards (i.e. organized areas, straighten/arrange pro shop, picking up trash debris, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of work area. Stock and replenish retail items & outside drinking station items as needed.
- Perform closing duties following guidelines and procedures established by management. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- . Focus attention on Members, Residents and Guests needs. Remain calm, professional and courteous at all times, even when under pressure.
- Notify supervisor of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur.
