About Us Skull & Books VR is a one-of-a-kind destination in Cocoa Beach, blending a curated independent bookstore with cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) gaming. We're looking for a friendly and reliable associate to join our team and help create memorable experiences for both readers and gamers. Role Overview This is a customer-facing role with light maintenance and tech assistance. It's perfect for someone who wants a fun, flexible job in a creative and unique space. Key Responsibilities Bookstore Support Greet and assist customers with book recommendations Restock shelves, organize displays, and help process new arrivals Run register transactions for books and merchandise VR Arcade Support Assist customers with check-ins and VR appointment scheduling Provide instructions and support for new VR users (training provided!) Clean and maintain VR equipment between uses General Store Support Tidy and clean the store and restroom as needed Restock supplies, sanitize surfaces, and ensure a welcoming environment Schedule & Compensation Starting at 4 + hours per week Shifts include: Weekend afternoon/evening shifts (during peak hours and party bookings) Hours may expand as the store gets busier—flexibility is a big plus!
