Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering product recommendations. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining attractive product presentations. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stockroom organization, ensuring products are available and accessible. Support cashiering duties with accurate retail math calculations for transactions and refunds. Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries professionally and courteously. Engage in product knowledge activities to educate customers about store offerings, including grocery items if applicable. Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the store environment. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences. Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for sales, discounts, and refunds. Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
