Job Description
Front Desk Sales Associate (Pre-Opening) RockBox Fitness, Lakewood Ranch, FL $15.00 to $17.00 per hour plus commission on membership sales Part time, 10 to 25 hours per week RockBox Fitness is opening in Lakewood Ranch this fall, and we're building the front desk team now. This is a sales role. You'll be the first person our members meet, on the phone, over text, and in the studio, and you'll have daily goals for calls made, classes booked, and memberships sold. Most people who reach out are curious but not yet sure a boxing gym is for them. Your job is to answer their questions, get them into a class, and sign them up when they're ready. We combine boxing and kickboxing on the bag with strength training in a 50-minute class. No boxing background required. What you'll do Greet members by name as they arrive, check them in for class, and make first-timers feel like they belong Respond to new inquiries by phone, text, and email, and get people booked for a first class Hit daily outreach and booking goals, and keep the CRM current Walk guests through membership options and enroll new members Sell gear, gloves, wraps, and supplements Invite members to bring a friend or refer someone who'd like it here Reset and clean equipment between classes and keep the lobby sharp Help with local events and community outreach What we're looking for High energy, and you like talking to people, because you'll do it all day Comfortable on the phone and over text, and willing to follow up more than once Reliable and organized enough to keep a lead list current Customer service, sales, retail, or hospitality experience preferred, not required Able to be on your feet through a shift and reset equipment between classes Studio hours run early morning through evening plus Saturday and Sunday mornings. This role works a mix, on a consistent weekly schedule we'll set around your availability. What you get $15.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on experience, plus commission on every membership you sell. Free studio membership, paid training, and two classes a week on the clock, because you can't sell something you've never done.
