Position Overview:
As a Bell Attendant, you will be an ambassador of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, embodying our commitment to unparalleled guest service. This role is crucial in making a lasting first impression, assisting guests with their immediate needs upon arrival, and ensuring a smooth welcome and departure experience. Your dedication will help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.
Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
Offer warm greetings to guests upon arrival and assist with their immediate needs. Provide a fond farewell to guests at departure, ensuring a lasting positive impression.
Luggage Assistance:
Efficiently handle guests' luggage with care during check-in and check-out, including storage and retrieval in a timely manner.
Information Resource:
Act as a knowledgeable resource, providing guests with information about the resort's amenities, activities, dining options, and directions around the property and local area.
Safety and Security:
Maintain a vigilant eye for guest safety and security, reporting any unusual activities or safety hazards.
Room Orientation:
Upon request, escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation on room amenities and resort services.
Special Requests and Deliveries:
Assist with delivering any special requests to guest rooms, such as mail, packages, or room service orders, in a courteous and timely manner.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the front desk and other departments to ensure a seamless experience for guests, communicating effectively about guests' needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving recordPrevious experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

A friendly, positive demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Physical Demands:
This role requires extensive standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. You must be able to perform these actions while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Most work tasks are performed primarily outdoors in the natural environment as well as in the front lobby.

Must be able to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs. as needed.

Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
