Great staff & small family feel, but with big corporate employee benefits. Looking for another motivated member for our team who likes to sell fine jewelry & retail merchandise. Job also entails learning to be a pawn appraiser of fine-jewelry and general retail merchandise. We are also looking for an associate who is good at posting on various social media sites and/or website design/updating. We will train the right person. We love to have fun in the work place! Skills Needed:

> Love to Sell!! > Proficient Computer Skills (MS Office Applications, proprietary pawn broker system & Google Internet Searches). Not afraid of a computer. > Outgoing and Friendly > Professional Appearance > Career Minded > Quick Learner/ Good Student > Positive Attitude > Must be able to lift over 40 pounds > Must be able to easily walk up and down stairs to & from our second floor > Must have reliable transportation >Must have excellent corrected eyesight for reading small serial #s, grading diamonds, precious metal karat markings, etc. Must not have color blindness for grading diamonds/gem color saturation. >Prior fine jewelry background, pawnshop background, payday/cash advance and/or Rent a Center experience is a plus!!

Responsibilities:

> Appraising

• Appraising fine jewelry & other merchandise (electronics, firearms, tools, musical instruments, etc.). Making pawn & purchase decisions on value and condition. > Sales
• Sales of fine jewelry, repairs of fine jewelry, electronics, firearms, tools, musical instruments, etc. > Customer Service
• General customer service of existing customers and new customers > Computer Operation
• Efficient & skilled at operating Microsoft Office, Google Internet searches, keyboard skills & the ability to learn our proprietary Point of Sale computer program. > Occasional lifting
• May exceed 45 to 50 pounds > Set up and close down the store in the mornings & evenings.

This work includes the set up of fine jewelry cases in the morning and close out those cases in the evening. > General store tidiness (vacuuming floors, wiping down glass display cases, dusting duties and cleaning of our out for sale merchandise)

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour
