Description The World Equestrian Center is seeking service-driven Retail Sales Associates to enhance our guests shopping experience and uphold the exceptional standards of our retail operations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, guest-focused environment and are passionate about delivering personalized service, maintaining visual excellence, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving sales goals while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming retail environment. Provide warm, engaging, and knowledgeable service to every guest, ensuring a memorable shopping experience. Assist customers in selecting merchandise, offering thoughtful recommendations and product insights. Maintain store presentation by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met. Accurately process transactions and fulfill phone and online orders with efficiency and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to meet department objectives and foster a positive workplace atmosphere. Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, escalating to supervisors when necessary. Adhere to all store-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company-wide retail policies. Uphold WECs commitment to excellence through respectful communication and adherence to the established chain of command. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership to support overall store success. Physical Requirements:
These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Reach with arms and hands to stock shelves and assist customers. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to access merchandise and maintain store appearance. Safely lift and carry items of varying weights in accordance with safety guidelines. Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities 1-2 years of experience in retail or customer service preferred. Sales experience is a plus. Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Ability to engage with guests of all ages, including children Employer conducts background check.
