Job Summary Join our vibrant board game café as a Retail/Cafe Associate, where your energy and passion for exceptional customer service will shine! In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, assists with food and beverage preparation, and ensures a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm will help create a lively atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Whether handling sales transactions or preparing delicious food, your positive attitude and attention to detail will drive our success and elevate the customer experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service in both retail and café settings Prepare and serve food and drinks - including alcohol (beer & wine). Operating the coffee machine and ovens, following food safety standards and recipes Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks Learn and retain product knowledge to help customers find the perfect board game or product. Assist customers with product selections, answer questions about menu items or retail products, and promote sales opportunities Qualifications Proficiency with computers and software programs (POS, scheduling programs, calendars, etc) Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction balancing
