Job Description
About This Role Häagen-Dazs® is opening its first Ocala location in downtown and we're hiring from the ground up. This is a rare chance to join a brand-new shop at opening day — if you're friendly, reliable, and love working with people, we want to meet you. No ice cream experience required. The right attitude is everything. What You'll Do Greet customers and create a welcoming experience from the moment they walk in Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies, and cakes to brand standards Upsell menu items and help customers find their perfect order Operate our POS system (Quattro) to process cash and card transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift — food safety is non-negotiable Stay efficient and positive during busy rushes without dropping the quality of service Support your teammates and pitch in wherever the store needs you What We're Looking For Positive attitude and genuine customer service instincts Reliable, punctual, and accountable — we're a small team and every shift matters Ability to work evenings and weekends Basic math and cash handling skills Food handler certification required before first shift (easy to get, we'll guide you) Previous food service or retail experience is a plus — but we'll train the right person What You Get $15-$16/hr starting pay Part-time flexible scheduling Be part of a brand-new opening — ground floor opportunity with real growth potential for the right person
