We're hiring a hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations, build a great team, and keep guests coming back. What You'll Do Team Leadership Recruit, hire, onboard, and train team members and shift lead; build the weekly schedule around forecasted traffic, labor targets, and labor laws. Define and uphold clear expectations for shift leads and team members, and coach the team on guest service, product knowledge, and brand standards. Run check-ins, give honest feedback, communicate updates consistently, and manage tip pools accurately and on time. Operations Open and close the store — cash handling, deposits, end-of-day reporting, and daily yogurt machine, topping bar, and quality checks. Manage inventory, weekly ordering, vendor coordination, equipment upkeep, and proper labeling to meet health, food safety, and sanitation standards. Keep all permits, paperwork, and certifications (food handler, ServSafe, health inspection, Kosher) current, and manage third-party delivery platforms and recurring deep cleans. Guest Experience Lead from the floor — greet guests, sample flavors, keep service moving during rushes, and maintain a clean, welcoming store inside and out. Demonstrate deep product knowledge (flavors, dietary attributes, allergens) and resolve guest concerns quickly to build loyalty. Handle custom cake orders and decoration per brand specs, and promote the Swirl Club loyalty program at the register. Any other inquiries Brand & Marketing Maintain Area Leader and Menchie's brand standards across visuals, uniforms, and operations. Set up monthly marketing materials on schedule — window clings, posters, signage, and digital menu updates. Stay current on campaigns, LTOs, and seasonal flavors; brief the team and ensure full Menchie's code compliance. Financial Performance Hit sales, labor, and expense targets in coordination with ownership; review daily and weekly reports and act on variances. Complete daily cash reconciliation and deposits, correct register/safe discrepancies, and forecast change needs. Lead loss prevention — monitor voids, refunds, and comps; secure cash and inventory; investigate discrepancies and coach the team on shrink prevention.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of management experience in food service, QSR, retail, or hospitality, with a proven ability to lead 7+ hourly employees. Strong grasp of inventory, scheduling, and labor cost control, plus comfort with POS systems, spreadsheets, and scheduling software. Open availability (nights, weekends, holidays); able to stand long shifts, lift 50 lbs, and work in a walk-in freezer; 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. Nice to Have ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days — we'll support you). Previous experience with frozen yogurt, ice cream, or dessert concepts, or hosting parties, fundraisers, or community events. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
