Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their needs and enhance their shopping experience Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to maximize sales potential Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Conduct product knowledge sharing and upselling to promote additional items and increase store revenue Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and well-stocked by performing regular stocking and merchandising tasks Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory counts Engage in basic retail math for transactions, pricing, and sales calculations Experience Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members or managing daily store operations Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers, team members, and vendors Experience conducting product demos or upselling can significantly boost sales performance Knowledge of grocery store operations or merchandising practices is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive approach and dedication will help us deliver exceptional service every day.
