We're looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Sales & Stock Associate with experience in retail, customer service, sales, stocking, cashiering, or delivery. What You'll Do As a Retail Sales & Stock Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming shopping experience while keeping the store organized and running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting customers with purchases and donations in a friendly, professional manner Operating the POS register and handling transactions accurately Stocking shelves, hanging pictures, and helping with furniture and merchandise placement Pulling, sorting, pricing, and displaying merchandise on the sales floor Testing appliances and electronics before placing items for sale Supporting donation carry‑ins and customer purchases as needed Helping schedule donation pickups and deliveries by calling customers Assisting with deliveries by accompanying the store truck driver when needed Handling donated and purchased items carefully during loading, unloading, and delivery Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and counter area Working collaboratively with team members, volunteers, and community service participants Following all safety guidelines and agency policies at all times Who We're Looking For High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of retail, customer service, or sales experience Comfortable operating a POS/cash register and supervising volunteers when needed Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset Flexible, dependable, and willing to take on a variety of tasks Friendly, helpful, and professional when interacting with customers, donors, vendors, and staff Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand for extended periods and remain active throughout the shift Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently or 100 lbs with assistance Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and move merchandise safely Primarily an indoor retail environment with some physical activity and movement Why You'll Love Working at The Arc We take care of our team so they can focus on making a difference.
