Immediate Hiring Need:

Evening Shift (5:00 PM - 10:00 PM) This position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Sunday shifts are worked independently and include full store responsibilities (cashiering, cleaning, stocking, and light inventory tasks). •Applicants who do not meet availability or reliability requirements will not be considered.• Xpress Mart is a locally and family-owned, independent gas station and convenience store serving our Pensacola community. We are a small, close-knit team looking for a reliable, motivated Store Associate who can handle cashier duties, work well with others, and assist with stocking and light inventory support. This is a hands-on position in a moderate-to-high paced environment depending on season and traffic. We are looking for someone dependable, positive, and willing to grow with us long-term. Scheduling:

More consistent and stable scheduling is available after training and a period of proven reliability. We are looking for someone who wants long-term, consistent work , not short-term or temporary employment. Shift Availability Store hours generally range between early morning and evening (6a-10p Monday-Friday & 7a-10p Saturday/Sunday) Must be comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays Availability within store operating hours is required Blackout dates apply for major holidays (no time-off requests during these periods) Schedules are based on business needs and seasonal demand. Job Responsibilities Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service Accurately operate POS, lottery, credit card systems, and money services Follow all state and federal regulations (including tobacco sales) Maintain coffee and food service areas Keep the store clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times Stock and face coolers, shelves, freezers, and back-up inventory Assist with receiving, stocking, and light inventory organization/counts Maintain clean restrooms, sales floor, and exterior store areas Take out trash and maintain curb appeal Follow safety, cash-handling, and loss-prevention procedures Work cooperatively with managers and coworkers Must be comfortable working independently during certain shifts (including Sundays), managing register, customers, and store upkeep without direct supervision. Minimum Qualifications Willingness to complete training Strong people skills and a positive attitude Ability to stand and walk for entire shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Reliable transportation Willingness to work weekends and holidays Must follow attendance and call-out policies Must be willing to undergo periodic background checks and drug testing Preferred Qualifications Retail, cashier, or customer service experience Stocking or inventory experience Experience with POS or pricebook systems Stable work history High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual a plus (Spanish welcome) Important Work Standards We value professionalism and respect.
